These pepparkakor are made in a family patisserie in the south of Sweden. Gingerbread is a traditional Swedish biscuit which you eat on special occasions, e.g. for Christmas. The gingerbread recipe is a well protected secret, ever since 1924. The pepparkakor are packed by hand in nice iron tins that keeps the biscuits dry.
